TOUCHES OF HALLOWEEN

I can't believe we're a week away from Halloween! This year has flown by, and that makes me happy because October through December are basically what I live for. I'd like to say I'm joking, but when it comes down to it, I'm really not! When it comes to decorating the house for Halloween, I don't go too crazy, but I do like to add a few things here and there. LATE SUMMER COASTAL DECOR

Have I mentioned I grew up in Massachusetts? Well I did, and you KNOW I love this little town we live in now, but sometimes the ache for water is still an actual physical pain. When you grow up surrounded by lakes and the ocean, it stays with you for life. And here in central Ohio, the water situation is not great. There are a handful of smallish muddy lakes and ponds, but nothing really close to us. My in-laws live a few hours north, right near Lake Erie, and we always visit the water when we're there, but we're not there often enough. {READ MORE}
